Noble County Community Foundation Joins Foundation for Appalachian Ohio

Support to Noble County Nonprofits and
Projects Continues to Grow

Caldwell, OH – The Noble County Community Foundation (NCCF) has joined the family of county-based funds at the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO).

Established in 2005, NCCF is a community organization that provides leadership and encourages charitable giving for the issues that improve and enhance lives in Noble County.

NCCF will continue to seek and award grants for community projects in Noble County, with FAO handling the fund management and administrative services. This enables the NCCF Board to focus on what matters most – supporting the most exciting opportunities and pressing needs across Noble’s communities. Board members are Judy McMullen, Chair; Shawn Ray, Vice Chair; Mike Lloyd; Mike Buckey; John Cline; Andrea Seder; Sherri Starr; Don Ullmann; and Jim Warren.

“The Noble County Community Foundation is excited for this new partnership,” said John Cline, NCCF Committee member. “While the community will continue to see us as a committed champion and supporter of the community, NCCF now has the benefit of FAO’s administrative leadership, helping to streamline and enhancing our community grants, while alleviating some burdens associated with maintaining a foundation.”

The following grants and scholarships are available through the NCCF family of funds: Don Coss Memorial Scholarship Fund; Jennifer Garrison Public Service Scholarship; HARP Mission Endowment Fund; Dale Hileman Legacy Fund; Supporting Student Success Fund; and the United Way of Guernsey, Monroe, and Noble Endowment.

“FAO welcomes this partnership with the Noble County Community Foundation,” said Cara Dingus Brook, FAO President and CEO. “NCCF is an essential grassroots philanthropic resource making a difference in Noble County every day by supporting community nonprofits and projects. We are excited to work together to continue to create opportunities for people in Noble County.”
