Investment will be doubled to provide $50,000 for community projects

Logan, OH – Park National Bank has committed $25,000 to support local projects benefitting the community through the Hocking County Community Foundation (HCCF).

With the establishment of the Park National Bank Community Fund for Hocking County, a named fund with HCCF, the bank creates a lead gift toward HHCF’s Endow Campaign that is matched dollar-for-dollar, effectively providing $50,000 in funding.

“By supporting the Hocking County Community Foundation, we are able to contribute to the success of many organizations in the Hocking County area. We give our support knowing these funds will be invested in projects that benefit our community,” Park National Bank Regional President Laura Tussing said. “Park believes strongly in growing relationships with customers and communities by responding to their needs in consistent, compassionate and creative ways. We are proud to do our part and know this donation will make an impact for years to come.”

HCCF is a nonprofit organization designed for the benefit of Hocking County, its people, and communities. It is part of the family of county-based funds at the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), a regional community foundation serving the 32 counties of Appalachian Ohio.

This dollar-for-dollar match opportunity is available through FAO, supporting the HCCF endowment. HCCF’s goal is to raise $300,000 in pledged donations, which FAO will match to become $600,000 in support of local projects and programs.

“By investing with the Hocking County Community Foundation, Park National Bank is investing in our community, and we are so grateful for this donation,” said Bailey Simons of the HCCF Committee. “We are excited about the programs and projects we can support with this donation. The timing is perfect because donations made now to HCCF are being matched dollar-for-dollar by FAO.”
