Grants available for Southern Perry County organizations and schools

Applications for 2023 SPCAEF funding due April 15

CORNING, Ohio – The Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund (SPCAEF) will be accepting applications for its 2023 grants March 15 through April 15.

Southern Perry County organizations and schools are invited to apply for grants to fund programs in the community that promote academic excellence and educational enrichment opportunities. Previous grant funding has been used to advance arts and cultural programming, historic preservation, and classroom enrichment activities and resources. In 2022, SPCAEF awarded four grants.

“Established in 1987, the Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund serves our community by creating resources that promote learning experiences throughout the Southern Local School District,” said Missy Jones of the SPCAEF board. “We’ve grown to include 23 donor-established funds that provide grants and scholarships that have long-lasting benefits for our residents and the greater community.”

SPCAEF partners with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio to provide scholarships and community grants.
