Deadline to apply for SPCAEF scholarships is April 15
CORNING, Ohio – The Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund (SPCAEF) announces the March 15 opening of its annual scholarship application period.
Scholarships are available to graduating seniors and graduates of Miller High School who are pursuing a postsecondary education in various areas of study. Applications are available in the high school guidance office and at www.AppalachianOhio.org/SouthernPerry.
“These scholarships are the result of generous donors who believe in the power education has to fuel the success of both residents and our communities,” said Missy Jones of the SPCAEF board.
In 2022, the SPCAEF awarded 41 scholarships to eight local residents.
The deadline for applications is Saturday, April 15, 2023. Completed scholarship applications and all supporting materials may be emailed to Scholarships@ffao.org or mailed (with postmark by April 15, 2023) to SPCAEF-FAO, 35 Public Square, Nelsonville, OH 45764.
SPCAEF was established in 1987 to create resources to promote academic experiences for residents of the Southern Local School District.
