The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio was created to help others give in lasting and meaningful ways. We believe that by working and investing together – each of us giving what we can – we will fundamentally change the conditions within Appalachian Ohio.
Philanthropy is for everyone; you don’t need a fortune to give to the causes you care about. There are many ways to give and we’re excited to share just a few stories from those who are making a difference by partnering with the Foundation here on our website.
Give tomorrow by exploring FAO’s planned giving website.
International donations are possible when making an online donation using Visa, Mastercard, American Express cards, or Paypal. If you are having trouble making an international donation, please email email@example.com or call at 1-888-284-7978 (press 3 for donor support).
Donor Advised Direct
While FAO houses and assists with many Donor-Advised Funds (often referred to as DAFs), we know and are grateful for many other donor-advised fund locations, and we are always honored to be the recipient of Donor-Advised Fund grants. For those of you who have a DAF through Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, or BNY Mellon, you can utilize DAF Direct to make a gift to FAO or one of its funds. With just a few clicks in the widget to the right or at this link, you can make your gift conveniently from your account without any transaction fees – be sure to complete the institution, the designation (how funds are to be used) and the gift amount.
More About Donor-Advised Funds
If you are looking for a place to establish or to learn more about a Donor-Advised Fund, the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio is your partner! A Donor-Advised Fund at FAO gives you an option to make grant awards to the organizations and causes that are closest to your heart in a simple and efficient way. There is no annual nor specific minimum pay-out requirement. The fund allows you and even your family to be as hands-on in your giving as you would like with all of the back-office work done for you.
