Bellisio Foods Announces Fall Scholarship


Applications Now Open For Fall Scholarship at the
Foundation for Appalachian Ohio

Jackson, OHBellisio Foods is proud to announce that the fall Bellisio Foods Scholarship application is now available for applicants. Established in honor of Bellisio Foods founder, Jeno Paulucci, the Bellisio Foods Scholarship, funded by the Bellisio Foods Fund at the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO), supports post-secondary scholarships for children and grandchildren of Bellisio Foods employees.

The Bellisio Foods Scholarship supports the pursuit of post-secondary education at trade and technical schools, community colleges, and four-year universities. Scholarship recipients are selected based on their demonstration of character, community service, financial need, academic performance, and overall potential. Eligible applicants should complete an application for the scholarship on the FAO website, www.AppalachianOhio.org and provide a copy of their transcript and FAFSA Student Aid Report.

The Bellisio Foods Scholarship application will be open until Friday, November 4. 2016. Applications will be reviewed by the Foundation’s Scholarship Committee and students receiving scholarships will be notified by Tuesday, December 6, 2016.

The Foundation’s mission is to create opportunities for Appalachian Ohioans by inspiring and supporting philanthropy. FAO supports communities across five areas essential to community and regional quality of life. Called the Pillars of Prosperity, these areas include arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services.
