Bellisio Foods Scholarship Fund Provides Post-Secondary Scholarships for Children and Grandchildren of Bellisio Foods Employees

Jackson, OH Bellisio Foods is pleased to announce the 2018 fall scholarship recipients from the Bellisio Foods Scholarship Fund at the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO). Fall 2018 scholarship recipients include Kerrigan Hoover of Jackson, Madison Schultz of Carver, MN, and Miah Miller of Wellston.

The Bellisio Foods Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Bellisio Foods founder, Jeno Paulucci. The Fund awards scholarships to children and grandchildren of Bellisio Foods employees pursuing post-secondary education. Recipients are selected based on character, community service, financial need, and academic performance and potential.

“Each of our scholarship recipients is passionate and has promise,” said Joel Conner, Executive Chairman of Bellisio Foods. “Bellisio Foods is both proud and honored to support the next steps in their education by making post-secondary education easier to access.”

Kerrigan Hoover is a 2014 graduate of Jackson High School in Jackson, OH. She is currently attending Ohio Northern University, where she is pursuing a doctor of pharmacy. Kerrigan is the daughter of Harold Hoover, an employee of Bellisio Foods in Jackson.

Madison Schultz is a 2017 graduate of Chaska High School in Carver, MN. She is currently attending University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she is majoring in zoology and life sciences communication. Madison is the daughter of Jennifer Schultz, an employee of Bellisio Foods in MN.

Miah Miller is a 2018 graduate of Jackson High School in Wellston, OH. He is currently attending Columbia University, where he is majoring in finance and economics. Miah is the son of Andy Miller, an employee of Bellisio Foods in Jackson.

The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio is pleased to partner with Bellisio Foods and others to support the educational pursuits of students in our region and beyond. The Foundation’s mission is to create opportunities for Appalachian Ohio’s citizens by inspiring and supporting philanthropy.

A central part of this work is to support communities, in partnership with community partners like the Jackson County Community Foundation, across areas essential to community and regional quality of life.
