These grants have been used to fund a variety of programs in the past, including historical preservation, community arts and culture programming, and classroom enrichment activities and resources.

“The Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund was created to build opportunities for academic excellence and enrichment in the Southern Local School District, and our grant program ensures that there is a rich ecosystem of educational opportunity in the district that extends well beyond the walls of our schools,” said Angela Plant, president of the Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund board.

Completed applications and all accompanying materials must be sent to SPCAEF-FAO, PO Box 456, Nelsonville, Ohio 45764. Detailed information on guidelines and application materials can be found at www.AppalachianOhio.org/SouthernPerry.
