Application Deadline Extended Through April 30

Woodsfield, OH – The Monroe County Community Foundation (MCCF) has extended its mini-grant proposal deadline for tax-exempt organizations in Monroe County. MCCF invites applications from organizations serving the Monroe County community. Projects should increase quality of life, create access to opportunities, or implement a solution for a community need in Monroe County.

For the inaugural grant round, mini-grants will be awarded and range in size from $250 to $500. At this time, the Foundation does not accept applications for any event sponsorships or sports-related requests.

MCCF is extending the deadline to allow additional Monroe County organizations to apply for this grant opportunity. Proposals must include a completed application and a 501(c)(3) IRS determination letter. Applications are available at www.AppalachianOhio.org/Monroe. Completed applications must be postmarked by April 30, 2016 and mailed to Monroe County Community Foundation, PO Box 494, Woodsfield, OH 43793.

The Monroe County Community Foundation was established in 2014 to ensure permanent support for the citizens and communities of Monroe County.
