The Donald R. Myers Legacy Fund to Support Partnership in Appalachian Ohio is pleased to announce that its 2016 grant application is now open.

Nonprofit and government organizations working collaboratively to benefit quality of life are invited to apply for grants from the Fund. The Donald R. Myers Legacy Fund was created to support projects and activities of organizations in the 32 Appalachian counties in Ohio that improve quality of life with emphasis on concerns Mr. Myers worked so passionately to address: education, regional networking opportunities, support for community leaders, and fulfillment of basic needs.

Applications will be accepted until Monday, March 14, 2016. Projects focused on education, regional networking opportunities, support for community leaders, and fulfillment of basic needs will receive the greatest consideration from the grant review committee.
