The Kevin F. Arnold Memorial Fund

The Kevin F. Arnold Memorial Fund was established to honor the legacy of Lancaster resident, Kevin F. Arnold. The fund supports Washington County’s Ohio State University Extension Office and its work to provide leadership and learning opportunities for youth. Specifically, the fund supports student’s participation in a summer leadership camp from 4-H.

OSU Extension helps Ohioans access the knowledge and resources of The Ohio State University, addressing local needs across family and consumer sciences, 4-H youth development, community development, and agricultural and natural resources, with an eye toward bettering lives, businesses, and communities. The Washington County office offers programs to enhance agriculture and the environment, support 4-H clubs, advance employment and income opportunities, and more.

Kevin volunteered as a 4-H horse show judge, and the camp supported by the Kevin F. Arnold Memorial Fund honors that passion. Four separate camps are offered for different age ranges, promoting leadership development among county youth entering grades 1-10.

Gifts to the Kevin F. Arnold Memorial Fund are tax deductible and can be made in many ways, including cash, bequests, and life insurance. Donations can be made online by designating the Kevin F. Arnold Memorial Fund. To mail your donation, please designate the fund and mail to the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, PO Box 456, Nelsonville, OH 45764.
