The Skills Achieve More Success Scholarship Fund will provide support for educational scholarships to students who are accepted into and attend accredited technical and trade programs that provide training and certification in various trades and fields of vocational interest.

All scholarship awards must be used for tuition and related expenses at the recipient’s educational institution, including tools and equipment needed for the trade.

Scholarships will be awarded from the Fund to students meeting the following criteria:

• Pursuing post-secondary studies in a trade field;
• GPA of 2.3 or higher;
• Resident of Jefferson, Belmont or Harrison counties, with priority to female applicants; and
• Priority to students who participated in their high school drug prevention program, if applicable.

Through gifts and the power of investment, the Skills Achieve More Success Scholarship Fund is currently gathering the resources necessary to successfully launch a sustainable scholarship program for those pursuing post-secondary education in a trade field.

Gifts to the fund are tax deductible and can be made in many ways, including cash, bequests, and life insurance. Donations can be made online by designating the Skills Achieve More Success Scholarship Fund when donating.
