The Davey L. and Sandra Jackson Turner Scholarship

Davey L. and Sandra Jackson Turner Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Turner by their daughter, Ashley and her husband, Mick Schumacher. The scholarship supports graduating students from Monroe County’s four Switzerland of Ohio local high schools: Beallsville, Monroe Central, River or Swiss Hills Career Center.

Criteria:

• Graduating senior from one of the four Switzerland of Ohio Local high schools: Beallsville, Monroe Central, River, or Swiss Hills Career Center.
• GPA of 3.0 to 4.0.
• Demonstrate within the application:
  • Record of community service.
  • Commitment to academics.
  • Participation in extra-curricular or work activities.
• Accepted into and planning to attend a two-year or four-year institution of higher education learning institution to earn an associate or bachelor’s degree.
