2025 scholarship application
Applications are being accepting Monday, Jan. 13, through Saturday, March 15.
Completed applications and all supporting materials may be emailed to Scholarships@ffao.org or mailed (with postmark by March 15, 2025) to Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, 35 Public Square, Nelsonville, OH 45764.
About the fund
The Noble County Community Foundation Scholarship Fund was established through major donations by the former Dr. Glen B. Taylor Scholarship program, by the former Edmund James Scholarship program and by community donations.
Eligibility:
The Noble County Community Foundation Scholarship is valid for any undergraduate or graduate school year of the student’s education at an accredited technical college, four-year college or university or technical or trade school.
There is no specific curriculum the student must pursue, and at this time the scholarship is not renewable.
A total of six $2,000 scholarships each will be given as follows:
- One Caldwell High School Class of 2025 graduate
- One Shenandoah High School Class of 2025 graduate
- One college student from Caldwell High School
- One college student from Shenandoah High School
- Additionally, one each for a Shenandoah High School graduate and a Caldwell High School graduate who is entering a trade school that is not a traditional four-year school.
