2026 scholarship application
Applications are being accepted Monday, Jan. 5, through Sunday, Feb. 15.
This scholarship is included in FAO’s general scholarship application, allowing applicants to apply for nearly 30 scholarship opportunities through one application.
Scholarship applications must be submitted online through the Foundation Cloud Community Portal. If you are a first-time scholarship applicant, you will need to register and create an account in the Portal. If you are a returning applicant, you may use your existing account.

Eligibility Requirements and Criteria
- Meigs County resident
- Must have completed their first year of postsecondary education; for students in associate, bachelor, master’s or other degree programs, this will be measured by 45 credit hours or 30 semester hours (i.e., sophomore status or the equivalent measure for students in career, technical or certificate programs)
- Be studying in one of the following fields: fine arts, music, education, medicine or agriculture
- Financial need, academic excellence, leadership experience or extracurricular activities may be considered
Past applicants and recipients are eligible to reapply.

Application Period
Applications are accepted annually in January and February.
