About the scholarship
Established in 2006, this scholarship honors the life and memory of Jenny Cornelius-Woltz through scholarships to graduating seniors from John Glenn High School with a primary interest in nursing.
The scholarship awards are to defray expenses associated with attaining a postsecondary nursing education. Alternatively, if no graduating seniors with a primary interest in nursing apply and/or qualify for the scholarship, applications from students interested in other medical professions will be considered.
Eligibility Requirements and Criteria
- Applicants must be graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to an accredited postsecondary institution offering nursing programs or other training within a medical field.
- Priority consideration will be given to those who demonstrate financial need, ethical character and participation in extracurricular activities, as well as potential for success as demonstrated by their commitment to professional goals in nursing or related medical fields.
