2025 spring scholarship application

Applications are being accepting Monday, Jan. 13, through Friday, Feb. 14.

This scholarship is included in FAO’s general scholarship application, allowing applicants to apply for nearly 30 scholarship opportunities through one easy-to-access application.

FAO has transitioned to a new online system, Foundation Cloud Community Portal, for funding applications, including scholarships. Before applying for a scholarship, all applicants must register and create an account in the new system. Once registered, click on the “Scholarship Application” tab and then select “Available Scholarships,” where you can access the specific scholarship application form.

Bellisio Foods

This scholarship honors Bellisio Foods founder Jeno Paulucci. Bellisio Foods makes a wide variety of frozen food brands, including Michelina’s, Boston Market, Authentic Asia, Eating Well, EAT!, FSI, Atkins and White Castle.

Through this scholarship, Bellisio’s leadership encourages economic success and access to educational opportunity.

Eligibility Requirements and Criteria
  • Recipients shall be chosen on the basis of: financial need, character as evidenced by personal conduct, values, and attitudes and behaviors toward others; community service as evidenced by leadership, service and activities; and academic performance and potential.
  • Applicants must be dependent children of a current Bellisio Foods employee in good standing for at least one year, including biological children, legally adopted children, children placed with employees for adoption, stepchildren and any children for whom an employee is the legal guardian; grandchildren of employees, regardless of dependent status, also qualify. Employees may be at any U.S. or Canadian location of Bellisio Foods.
  • Candidates must be pursuing postsecondary education, full or part time, at an accredited vocational or technical training program, community college or four-year college in the U.S. or Canada.
  • Candidates must have at least a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
  • Priority will be given to students receiving the Bellisio Food Scholarship award for the first time, and no student may receive more than four awards.
  • Assistance is not intended for pursuit of advanced degrees (e.g., master’s degree).
Awards

Scholarship awards are determined based on the number of applicants.

Application Period

Students may apply for the Bellisio Foods Scholarship twice a year: in the fall (October) and as part of FAO's general scholarship application period (mid-January to mid-February).
