Jennifer Garrison Public Service Scholarship

The Jennifer Garrison Public Service Scholarship was established to encourage and support the post-secondary efforts of students with a passion for public service. Jennifer Garrison has been working to improve the lives of Southeastern Ohioans for over 20 years, and previously served in Ohio’s 93rd district as State Representative. Since her time in the legislature, Jennifer has continued to serve her community, and the family established the fund to foster and support the region’s future public service leaders.
Eligibility Requirements and Criteria:
- Scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors from Monroe, Noble and Washington counties.
- Applicants must have held an elected position within their school’s student government and communicate a continued desire to be involved in public service.
- Preference will be given to students with a grade point average between 2.5 and 3.5.
Award Amount
Five scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded annually.
