The Rolling Hills Foundation Scholarship Program Fund was established with an initial gift from the Stemmer Family Foundation, and supports a unique partnership between the Rolling Hills Local School District and scholarship funds open only to Meadowbrook High School students, to increase the scholarship award amount students receive.

“Last year, we left the Meadowbrook High School awards ceremony wondering what we could do to recognize and honor the legacies of those who originally established these scholarships,” said Tom Stemmer of the Rolling Hills Foundation Scholarship Fund. “What resulted from us answering that question is the Rolling Hills Foundation Scholarship Fund. This fund will allow us to continue to recognize and honor the original scholarship sponsors, while helping the seniors who received those scholarships.”

Each year, Meadowbrook High School students will work to grow funds for the Fund, and it is the hope for others to join in this partnership as well.

In 2018, 14 scholarship awards received matching dollars totaling an additional $7,200 in scholarship dollars for Meadowbrook High School graduates, including:

  • Byesville Alumni Scholarship
  • Byesville Rotary Scholarship
  • Cambridge Packaging Scholarship
  • Bill Dowler Scholarship
