The Community Foundation for Perry County established the Perry County Disaster Relief Fund in August 2026 in response to flash flooding that affected residents and communities across the county. While its first priority is recovery from the August 2026 flooding, the fund also creates a permanent source of support for any future disasters.

Applications for funding

The Perry County Disaster Relief Fund is accepting applications from 501(c)(3) public charities and other organizations eligible to receive tax-deductible contributions, including schools, faith-based organizations and other public entities providing immediate relief and essential services to individuals affected by the August 2026 flash flooding in Corning, Crooksville, Roseville and other communities throughout Perry County.

While the fund cannot accept applications from individuals directly, organizations providing assistance to impacted individuals, especially those not supported by other funding sources, are eligible to apply.

Applications must be submitted online and will be reviewed on a weekly basis.
