In memory of Maddy
Madelyn Ruth “Maddy May” Schein (Nov. 25, 2013 – April 1, 2022) lit up every room she entered with her infectious laugh and bubbly personality, and she never knew a stranger. A second grader at Central Elementary School in Logan, she loved basketball, guacamole and her friends.
When Maddy’s life was tragically cut short due to an ATV accident, she saved four lives through organ donation. To keep her memory alive throughout her community, Maddy’s family established the Maddy Schein Memorial Scholarship at Logan High School.
The Maddy Schein Memorial Scholarship Fund is a member of the Hocking County Community Fund’s family of funds.
