About the inspiHER Girls Leadership Foundation
The inspiHER Girls Leadership Foundation strives to empower young girls to dream big, believe in themselves and become girls of action in their schools and communities. The Foundation works to help young girls live up to their fullest potential and provides them with support and resources needed to overcome the many challenges and obstacles girls face in this fast-paced, high-pressured world.

The inspiHER Girls Leadership Foundation’s mission is to connect with girls during the critical ages of 9-13, when confidence levels begin to decline and social pressures begin to increase, and to provide each girl with skills, resources and tools to overcome these challenges and become confident leaders who thrive in today’s world.
Its program model includes full-day interactive leadership retreats designed specifically for girls in grades 5-8 and focused on leadership, confidence, resilience, self-care and community service. The retreats offer a tiered leadership and self-esteem curriculum presented by women leaders from within the community, along with trained professionals and community agencies providing essential resources and tools for adolescent girls.
Interactive workshops focus on topics such as confidence building, self-esteem, healthy relationships, stress management, time management, organizational skills and finding your strengths. Self-defense training along with cyber safety and digital responsibility are key sessions built into the day.
The inspiHER Girls Leadership Foundation is directed by exceptional leaders from the business, nonprofit and public sector who are dedicated to contributing their time, talent and resources toward advancing the organization’s mission and expanding communities committed to increasing leadership opportunities for girls and women across our region.
