About the Guernsey County Education Assistance Grant Fund
The Guernsey County Education Assistance Grant Fund began as Dollars for Scholars, a well-known and loved scholarship for Guernsey County students. Though the name has changed, the mission behind it has not. Created in 1967, the fund supports students who are residents of Guernsey County at the time of their graduation or those with an equivalent degree and 10 years of residency in the county.
The Guernsey County Education Assistance Grant Fund scholarships are available for four years and can be used non-consecutively for varied educational pursuits, including technical schools and graduate schools. Guernsey County residents who may be returning to school years after completing their high school degrees can also make use of the scholarships.
