Donations in Monroe County Matched Dollar-for-Dollar for a Limited Time
Commitments to Community Foundation have double the impact
Woodsfield, OH – The Monroe County Community Foundation (MCCF) is offering a special initiative to provide greater support to Monroe County communities.
The Endow 200 Campaign seeks to identify 200 donors who each will pledge to give donations over a five-year period. Those commitments will be matched dollar-for-dollar, increasing their impact by creating more opportunities in Monroe County.
When 200 people commit to giving $50 per month for five years — or $600 per year — to MCCF, this equals $3,000 from each donor, totaling $600,000 to grow the MCCF endowment to support local projects.
Additionally, the first $300,000 of those pledges will be doubled through a special match opportunity available to Monroe County, supporting projects and initiatives in the county for generations to come.
“Those who commit now to supporting Monroe County communities will see their gift have double the impact. Your donation is spread across five years, but making the commitment now means that entire amount is matched. Your $3,000 becomes $6,000,” said Gwynn Stewart of the Monroe County Community Foundation.
This dollar-for-dollar match opportunity is available through a partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, supporting the Monroe County Community Foundation endowment.
MCCF was created in 2014 to help Monroe residents and those who love Monroe to give locally, ensuring Monroe County resources benefit its citizens and communities forever.
