About the Area Agency on Aging Region 9
The Area Agency on Aging Region 9, also known as AAA9, is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization serving Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Muskingum and Tuscarawas counties. Its mission is to work with people, communities and organizations to help older adults and people with disabilities live independently and enjoy the highest quality of life possible.
Eligibility Requirements and Criteria
This scholarship is open to both high school seniors and non-traditional students returning to school. Applicants must:
- Reside within the current geographic service area of the Area Agency on Aging 9, which includes Belmont, Carroll, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Muskingum and Tuscarawas counties
- Be pursuing an RN (registered nurse) or LSW (licensed social worker) degree
- Be attending a college or university within AAA9’s service area

Application Period
Applications are accepted annually in January and February.
