About the fund

Braylyn Johnson, a youth from Meigs County, was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in May 2021. He’s now in remission and doing well, but during his treatment, his family learned how quickly life can change and were moved to provide educational resources and awareness for families impacted by cancer.

They created the BraylynStrong Scholarship, a member of the Meigs County Foundation’s family of funds, to assist families in similar situations.
