2025 grant application
Expand Energy and FAO are accepting grant applications to support STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) educational activities in K-12 classrooms and schools in Belmont, Guernsey and Monroe counties.
Public school districts and educators working in those three counties are invited to apply for funding to implement enhanced STEM-based learning materials, opportunities and experiences during the 2025-26 school year.
2025 grant applications are being accepted through Tuesday, Nov. 18. Grant awards are anticipated to range up to $1,000, but larger requests will be considered.
FAO has transitioned to a new online system for grant applications. Before applying for funding, all applicants must register and create an account in the new system. (Note: If you have previously registered with the system/applied for funding since fall 2024, you can use the account you previously created.) Once registered, click on the “Grant Application” tab and then select “Available Grants,” where you can access the specific grant application form.
