2026 scholarship application

Applications are being accepted Monday, Jan. 5, through Sunday, Feb. 15.

This scholarship is included in FAO’s general scholarship application, allowing applicants to apply for nearly 30 scholarship opportunities through one application.

Scholarship applications must be submitted online through the Foundation Cloud Community Portal. If you are a first-time scholarship applicant, you will need to register and create an account in the Portal. If you are a returning applicant, you may use your existing account.

Eligibility Requirements and Criteria
  • Monroe County resident graduating from the Switzerland of Ohio School District (Beallsville, Monroe Central and River High Schools or Swiss Hill Career Center)
  • Pursuing postsecondary studies at an accredited technical/vocational, two-year or four-year institution studying education (including special needs education) or the sciences (including agriculture)
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and related work experience

Application Period

Applications are accepted annually in January and February.
