Funding available for community health, wellness activities in eight-county area

CAMBRIDGE, Ohio – The Southeast Ohio Health and Wellness Foundation Fund at the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio is accepting applications for its spring 2026 community grant program.

Nonprofit and public organizations are invited to apply for grant funding for projects and programs that promote health and wellness for community members of all ages. Priority will be given to community-based and grassroots organizations supporting local communities with services and resources offered outside hospital system settings.

“We are excited to invest in community organizations benefiting health and wellness in the communities we serve,” said Matt Elli, chair of the Southeast Ohio Health and Wellness Foundation Fund. “We look forward to supporting programs and organizations that help make our communities healthier and stronger.”

Eligible projects and programs must serve communities in the fund’s eight-county service area, which includes: Belmont, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Monroe, Muskingum, Noble and Tuscarawas counties.

Funding requests should be between $500 and $5,000. A total of up to $25,000 is available to award in this application round.
