Expand Energy and FAO invite K-12 public schools and educators to apply by Nov. 18

NELSONVILLE, Ohio – Expand Energy and the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO) are accepting grant applications to support STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) educational activities in K-12 classrooms and schools in Belmont, Guernsey and Monroe counties.

Public school districts and educators working in those three counties are invited to apply for funding to implement enhanced STEM-based learning materials, opportunities and experiences during the 2025-26 school year. Grant awards, provided through the Expand Energy STEM Education Fund in partnership with FAO, are anticipated to range up to $1,000, but larger requests will be considered.

Grant applications open on Tuesday, Oct. 7, and must be submitted by Tuesday, Nov. 18. Additional information and the grant application are available at www.AppalachianOhio.org/grant-opportunities. Applications must be submitted online.
