Deadline to Apply is July 31
Woodsfield, OH – The Monroe County Community Foundation (MCCF) is pleased to announce that it is currently accepting mini-grant applications for projects serving Monroe County.
Mini-grants will range in size from $250-$500 for this grant round. Public and nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations serving Monroe County are invited to apply for projects that will increase quality of life, create access to opportunities, or implement a solution for a community need. At this time, MCCF does not accept applications for event sponsorships or sports-related requests.
Applications, available at www.AppalachianOhio.org/Monroe, must be submitted with a 501(c)(3) IRS determination letter. MCCF grant applications must be post-marked by July 31, 2019, and mailed to Monroe County Community Foundation, P.O. Box 494 Woodsfield, OH 43793.
The Monroe County Community Foundation was established in 2014 to ensure permanent support for the citizens and communities of Monroe County. A local community fund of the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, MCCF works to inspire philanthropy. Local Foundation Committee members include Nikki Baker-Lude, Karena Reusser, Mick Schumacher and Gwynn Stewart.
Gifts to MCCF are tax deductible and can be made in many ways, including cash, bequests, life insurance, and charitable remainder trusts.
