Scholarship Opportunities Open for Students Preparing for Post-Secondary Education
Nelsonville, OH –
With the close of another school year coming into sight, seniors have begun the search for scholarships to help with their post-secondary aspirations. With that in mind, the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio is excited to once again begin accepting scholarship applications. Scholarships are available from donor-established funds within FAO. Detailed information regarding eligibility and application guidelines, as well as the application, can be found ont the Foundation’s homepage. The deadline for applications is March 31, 2015.
“We are always inspired when we see the support our region’s students receive for their education every year,” said FAO President and CEO Cara Dingus Brook. “Because of our donors, the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio can create educational opportunities and help students build their futures.”
The Foundation offers a variety of scholarships aimed at students from different counties, studies, and interests. Students can identify one or multiple scholarships suited to their educational plans.
Detailed information on scholarship opportunities, guidelines, and application forms can be found on our scholarships page. Completed applications and all accompanying materials must be emailed to tmann@ffao.org or mailed with postmark by March 31, 2015 to the Foundation’s office at PO Box 456, Nelsonville, OH 45764.
