SPCAEF Partners with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio

Nelsonville, OH The Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund is accepting scholarship applications from graduating seniors or graduates of Miller High School and grant applications that benefit the students and/or citizens of Southern Local School. The Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund (SPCAEF) was established in 1988 with the purpose of creating resources to promote learning experiences for the residents of the Southern Local School District. Now, SPCAEF is partnering with FAO to provide scholarships and mini-grants to promote academic excellence and sponsor enrichment opportunities for Southern Local School District students and citizens.

“We’re so excited about what partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio will mean for the students and citizens of the district,” said Lynann Bolyard, SPCAEF Secretary. “These scholarships mean a lot to the students of Southern Local and we’re excited to kick off another scholarship season.”

The Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund is now accepting applications for its scholarship and grant opportunities. Applications can be found on FAO’s website or the Southern Local School District’s website. Applications should be mailed to the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, SPCAEF, PO Box 456, Nelsonville, OH 45764. All materials must be postmarked by May 1.

Gifts to the Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund are tax deductible and can be made in a number of ways, including cash, bequests, and life insurance. To mail your donation, please designate SPCAEF in the memo line of your check and mail to the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, PO Box 456, Nelsonville, OH 45764. Donations can also be made online by selecting the Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund when making a donation.
