Making a difference since 2012

The Harrison County Community Foundation (HCCF) was founded in 2012 to provide a place where anyone can give to make a difference for the people and communities of Harrison County – and where, together, our giving goes further.

Our goal is to establish and grow permanent charitable resources that provide continuous investment in Harrison County. Today, we steward $1.9 million in assets – all designed to fill our communities’ greatest needs, seize our most promising opportunities and build a strong foundation for the future.

Among our success stories, HCCF is proud to spearhead a campaign that brings together local residents and businesses to help our neighbors facing food insecurity. Known as “Fill the Freezer,” the campaign invites buyers at the Harrison County Fair’s livestock sale to donate their hog purchases to fill the freezers or our county’s food pantries and fight hunger – one pig at a time.

Together with our donors and partners, we advance opportunities across five funding areas, known as our Pillars of Prosperity.
