Making a difference since 2014
The Monroe County Community Foundation (MCCF) was established in 2014 by four community members who came together to create a way for anyone who lives in or loves Monroe County to give to make an immediate and lasting difference in our communities.
Nikki Baker-Lude, Ryan Moyer, Karena Reusser and Gwynn Stewart gave the initial gift to create an endowment fund that provides continuous investment in the people and communities of Monroe County. Operating under the motto, “Give where you live,” our goal is to continue establishing and growing permanent charitable resources for the benefit of Monroe County.
Today, we steward $3.4 million assets – all working together to fill our communities’ greatest needs, seize our most promising opportunities and build a strong foundation for the future.
Together with our donors and partners, we advance opportunities across five funding areas, known as our Pillars of Prosperity.
