The Gallia Community Foundation is holding its third annual Fill the Freezer campaign on Saturday, Aug. 2, at the 2025 Gallia County Fair. The campaign invites buyers at the fair’s livestock sale to donate their hog purchases and others to donate money to cover meat processing costs to fill the freezers of Gallia County’s food pantries and fight hunger – one pig at a time.
