Making a difference since 2011
The Gallia Community Foundation (GCF) was established in 2011 by local residents to partner with anyone who loves Gallia County in growing charitable giving to elevate the local quality of life.
Our goal is to establish and grow permanent charitable resources that provide continuous investment in the people and communities of Gallia County. Today, we steward $1.2 million in assets – all designed to fill our communities’ greatest needs, seize our most promising opportunities and build a strong foundation for the future.
Among our success stories, GCF is proud to spearhead a campaign that brings together local residents and businesses to help our neighbors facing food insecurity. Known as “Fill the Freezer,” the campaign invites buyers at the Gallia County Fair’s livestock sale to donate their hog purchases to fill the freezers or our county’s food pantries and fight hunger – one pig at a time.
Together with our donors and partners, we advance opportunities across five funding areas, known as our Pillars of Prosperity.
