The Community Foundation for Perry County is holding its sixth annual Fill the Freezer campaign Saturday, July 25, at the 2026 Perry County Fair. The campaign invites buyers at the fair’s junior livestock sale to donate their hog purchases and others to donate money to cover meat processing costs to fill the freezers of Perry County’s food pantries and fight hunger – one pig at a time.
