The Community Foundation for Perry County is holding its fifth annual Fill the Freezer campaign Saturday, July 19, at the 2025 Perry County Fair.
The campaign invites buyers at the fair’s livestock sale to donate their hog purchases and others to donate money to cover meat processing costs to fill the freezers of Perry County’s food pantries and fight hunger – one pig at a time. The livestock sale begins at 10 a.m. with the hog sale.
