The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio and the Lawrence County Community Foundation are partnering with COSI and local businesses to bring a science and career exploration program to middle and early high school students in Lawrence County. The program will provide hands-on learning in science, technology, engineering, math and medicine while exposing students to related career opportunities in their communities.
At 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, Lawrence County youth participating in this program will provide a hands-on community science demonstration. The demonstration will take place on the Ohio University Southern campus (1804 Liberty Ave., Ironton, OH 45638) and is open to the public.
