Making a difference since 2019
The Hocking County Community Fund (HCCF) was established in 2019 to provide a way for anyone with a heart for Hocking County to give in support of its people and communities.
The Logan-Hocking School District spearheaded the creation of HCCF with a vision for increasing the ability of everyone to invest in Hocking County through grants and scholarships.
Our goal is to establish and grow permanent charitable funds and resources that provide continuous investment in Hocking County. Today, we steward $6.5 million in assets – all working together to fill our communities’ great needs, seize our most promising opportunities and build a strong foundation for the future.
Among our success stories, HCCF is proud to spearhead a campaign that brings together local residents and businesses to help our neighbors facing food insecurity. Known as “Fill the Freezer,” the campaign invites buyers at the Hocking County Fair’s livestock sale to donate their hog purchases to fill the freezers of our county’s food pantries and fight hunger – one pig at a time.
Together with our donors and partners, we advance opportunities across five funding areas, known as our Pillars of Prosperity.
