The Guernsey County Foundation is partnering with the Guernsey County Agricultural Society to bring the Fill the Freezer campaign to the 2026 Guernsey County Junior Fair Livestock Sale. The campaign invites buyers at the Sept. 18 livestock sale to donate their hog purchases to fill the freezers of the county’s food pantries and fight hunger – one pig at a time. The livestock sale begins at 9 a.m. with the rabbit sale followed by the hog sale. Learn more about Fill the Freezer.
