Making a difference since 1988
Community leaders established the Guernsey County Foundation (originally known as the Cambridge Foundation) in 1988 to make a direct and lasting impact on the people and communities of Guernsey County. In 2004, the Cambridge Foundation changed the organization’s name to better reflect its scope and joined the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio as the regional community foundation’s first geographic affiliate foundation partner.
The Guernsey County Foundation operates under a “Power of One” mindset. We believe that by bringing together individuals’ time, talent and treasure and focusing on a single goal, we will ensure the people and communities of Guernsey County flourish, today and for generations to come.
Together with our donors and partners, we advance opportunities across five funding areas, known as our Pillars of Prosperity.
