Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund Grant and Scholarship Applications Are Now Open

Corning, OH The Southern Perry County Academic Endowment Fund (SPCAEF) is pleased to announce its annual scholarship and grant applications are now open. Additional information as well as this year’s applications can be found on the Fund’s webpage, www.AppalachianOhio.org/SouthernPerryApplications must be postmarked and submitted by May 1, 2021.

The SPCAEF’s Family of Funds is composed of 23 donor-established funds offering a variety of scholarships and grants to support students, organizations, and schools.

SPCAEF scholarship applications are open to graduating seniors and graduates of Miller High School in Southern Perry County pursuing different areas of study.

SPCAEF grant applications are open to organizations and schools serving the Southern Perry community. Grants can be used to fund programs throughout Southern Perry County that positively impact the community by promoting academic excellence and opportunities for educational enrichment. These grants have been used to fund a variety of programs in the past, including community arts and culture programming, historical preservation, and classroom enrichment activities and resources.

“SPCAEF is pleased to once again offer this opportunity for the Southern Perry community made possible by a broad base of donors and supporters,” said Angie Plant, the SPCAEF President. “The SPCAEF Family of Funds provides educational opportunities through scholarships and grant dollars that expand opportunities in our communities.”

SPCAEF was created in 1987 to create resources to promote academic experiences for residents of the Southern Local School District. SPCAEF partners with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO) to provide scholarship and community grants to promote academic excellence and enrichment opportunities for Southern Local School District residents.
