The bank\u2019s gift is being matched dollar-for-dollar by the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor more than 135 years, we have been proud to serve Morgan County, to support local, and to give where we live,\u201d said Matt Carpenter, president of Citizens National Bank of McConnelsville. \u201cOur investment in the Morgan Community Fund is an investment in the people who call Morgan County home today and for generations to come and in the future of our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A local affiliate of FAO, the Morgan Community Fund was established in 2008 by local residents to grow charitable giving that makes a direct and lasting impact for Morgan County.
