  Freezer campaign at the 2026 Monroe County Fair. The campaign invites buy
 ers at the fair’s Aug. 27 livestock sale to donate their hog and steer p
 urchases to fill the freezers of Monroe County’s food pantries and fight
  hunger – one pound at a time. The livestock sale begins at 4 p.m. Learn
