Monroe County Community Foundation Offers Opportunity to Double Your Donation
First 100 commitments will be matched dollar-for-dollar
Woodsfield, OH – The Monroe County Community Foundation (MCCF) is launching a special initiative to provide greater benefits to Monroe County communities.
The Endow 200 Campaign seeks to identify 200 donors who each will pledge to give donations over a five-year period. To have an even larger impact, those commitments made now will be matched dollar-for-dollar to create more opportunities in Monroe County.
When 200 people commit to giving $50 per month for five years — or $600 per year — to MCCF, this equals $3,000 from each donor, totaling $600,000 to grow the MCCF endowment to support local projects.
Additionally, the first $300,000 of those pledges will be doubled through a special match opportunity available to Monroe County, supporting projects and initiatives in the county for generations to come.
“The first 100 people who commit to donate will see their pledges have twice as much impact in our communities. While each donation is spread across five years, making a commitment now means that your entire donation amount will be matched,” said Nikki Lude of the Monroe County Community Foundation.
This dollar-for-dollar match opportunity is available through a partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, supporting the Monroe County Community Foundation endowment.
MCCF utilizes donations to fund local projects. The organization was created in 2014 to help Monroe residents and those who love Monroe to give locally, ensuring Monroe County resources benefit its citizens and communities forever.
