DESCRIPTION:The Meigs County Foundation (MCF) and the Foundation for Appala
 chian Ohio are partnering with COSI and local businesses to bring a scienc
 e and career exploration program to some Meigs County middle school studen
 ts.\n\nThe COSI roadshow pilot is designed to spark children’s excitemen
 t for science-based learning and increase their awareness of local career 
 pathways through hands-on learning in science\, technology\, engineering\,
  math and medicine. The event will focus on topics relevant to local\, in-
 demand careers and credentials to inform youth about new career opportunit
 ies and help meet future workforce needs specific to local communities and
  employers.\n\nThe Meigs County event is being hosted by MCF in partnershi
 p with AEP\, the Buckley Group\, Buckley Ironworks\, New Era Broadband\, D
 PC Fabrication and other local employers.
