The Myron Fishel Scholarship Fund, which joined the Guernsey County Foundation\u2019s family of funds at FAO in 2016, provides support to Guernsey County students pursuing postsecondary studies at accredited institutions in Ohio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The 2026 Myron Fishel Scholarship recipients are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Destini Abrams\u00a0<\/strong>of Lore City, a 2026 Buckeye Trail High School graduate, who plans to attend Belmont College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Madison Boyer <\/strong>of Byesville, a 2022 Meadowbrook High School graduate, who attends Cedarville University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Garrett Carpenter<\/strong> of Cambridge, a 2026 Cambridge High School graduate, who plans to attend Muskingum University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kaylee Garcia <\/strong>of Cambridge, a 2026 Cambridge High School graduate, who plans to attend Washington State College of Ohio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Jenna Grudier<\/strong> of Byesville, a 2026 Meadowbrook High School graduate, who plans to attend The Ohio State University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Andrew Hardy<\/strong> of Senecaville, a 2024 Meadowbrook High School graduate, who attends Muskingum University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grace Kackley <\/strong>of Byesville, a 2026 Meadowbrook High School graduate, who plans to attend The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Karly Launder<\/strong> of Pleasant City, a 2024 Meadowbrook High School graduate, who attends Marietta College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Max Morrow <\/strong>of Cambridge, a 2026 John Glenn High School graduate, who plans to attend Ohio University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Madison Peters<\/strong> of Cambridge, a 2025 Cambridge High School graduate, who attends Ohio University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Karrah Singleton<\/strong> of Senecaville, a 2026 Meadowbrook High School graduate, who plans to attend Malone University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dawson Spratt<\/strong> of Lore City, a 2026 Cambridge High School graduate, who plans to attend The Ohio State University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Caleb Stanberry<\/strong> of Cambridge, a 2024 Cambridge High School graduate, who attends Kent State University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Leslie Stevens <\/strong>of Cambridge, a 2026 Meadowbrook High School graduate, who plans to attend Muskingum University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sierra Taylor <\/strong>of Salesville, a 2026 Buckey Trail High School graduate, who plans to attend Ohio Northern University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Teagan Walrath<\/strong> of Cambridge, a 2026 John Glenn High School graduate, who plans to attend Miami University<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each year, FAO partners with donors, volunteers and its affiliate foundations, including the Guernsey County Foundation, to award scholarships through a competitive application process to students across the 32 counties of Appalachian Ohio.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CAMBRIDGE, Ohio&nbsp;\u2013 The Foundation for Appalachian Ohio (FAO) and the Guernsey County Foundation announce the 2026 Myron Fishel Scholarship recipients.
