Guernsey County Board of Developmental Disabilities Scholarship Fund

The Guernsey County Board of Developmental Disabilities Scholarship Fund was established in 2017 to make post-secondary education more achievable for young adults with developmental disabilities in Guernsey County.

A member of the Guernsey County Foundation Family of Funds, the Fund provides educational scholarships to residents of Guernsey County who are eligible for services of the Guernsey County Board of Developmental Disabilities, which works with over 300 Guernsey County individuals with developmental disabilities to ensure that they can live, work, and take an active part in their community.

Scholarship applicants must be accepted into and attend accredited programs providing training and certification in various trades and fields of vocational interest, associate’s degree programs, and four-year institutions of higher learning.
